LSFM students get the opportunity to work on project in peru !

A team on nine students from the Lincoln School of Film and Media got the amazing opportunity to work on a project in Peru with Challenges Abroad! Prior to the trip the team fundraised for the FutureSense Foundation, raising a massive £20,499 throughout the year.

Now the team, consisting of Matt Snellin, Amy-Louise Knowles, Holly McGratten, Yve Odell, Katie Sharpe, Sarah Edwards, Harry Marshall, Ellie Plummer and Joanne Newton are currently in Peru, working on their projects supported by the money they fundraised. For their project they will be running a media club at Chichubamba School in the Sacred Valley over 3 weeks helping the students their to create a piece of media. This could include an advertisement, some photographs or short videos for example. Once the project has finished, some of the students will be trekking the Salkantay trail to Machu Picchu!
