The School of Fine and Performing Arts are pleased to announce details of the first in a newly-launched series of Artists’ Talks. On Thursday 23rd February, we welcome to the LPAC Professor Christopher Baugh from the University of Leeds.
Baugh has worked for many years as a practitioner, theorist and historian of scenography, and is author of the seminal Theatre, Performance and Technology – now in its second edition. Hist most recent published research examines works that are grounded in particular sites and which respond to the socio-political conditions of particular locales. He has also written on contemporary scenographies documented and exhibited at the Prague Quadrennial and is currently exploring computer visualization as research methodology.
We hope very much that you will be able to attend. Please RSVP Dr Jacqueline Bolton (firstname.lastname@example.org) as there is a cap on attendance.
