The workshop will include a talk by Dr Siân Adiseshiah on utopianism and ageing and discussions facilitated by the University of Lincoln. Our activities aim to enable older people to explore their hopes and fears for the future through engaging with literary utopias.

The day will culminate with Dr Amy Culley hosting a talk by author Penelope Lively discussing her recent memoir on ageing and memory, ‘Ammonites and Leaping Fish: A Life in Time’.
